Expense Tracker - Income Manager is an offline-first personal finance app. Your privacy is the core of how it is built.
Your financial data stays on your device. Every account, transaction, budget, goal and receipt image you create is stored locally and is never uploaded to us or sold to anyone. There is no account to create and no cloud sync.
Two things do leave the device, and we would rather name them than let you discover them: anonymous usage analytics (see below) and, if you buy Pro, the purchase itself, which is handled by the app store. Neither includes your financial data.
All data you create in Expense Tracker - Income Manager — accounts, transactions, budgets, goals, categories, tags, notes, and any receipt images you attach — is stored locally on your device only. It is never uploaded to us or any third party.
The app includes Google Analytics for Firebase, and this website uses Google Analytics. This is how we learn which screens and pages people use; it is not linked to any account, because there are no accounts.
What it does collect: that the app was opened, which screens were viewed and in what order, roughly how long a session lasted, your device model and operating system, your app version, and a country-level region derived from your IP address. It also generates a random app-instance identifier so that repeat visits can be counted without knowing who you are.
What it never collects: any amount, balance, transaction, category, note, account name, receipt image, or anything else you type into the app. Those never leave your device, so there is nothing for analytics to read.
You can switch it off. On Android, Google Play → Settings → Privacy controls; on iOS, Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements. Turning it off does not limit any feature of the app.
When you export a backup (JSON/CSV) or share it, that file is created by you and handled by you. Expense Tracker - Income Manager does not receive a copy.
Expense Tracker - Income Manager is completely ad-free. We do not show ads, use advertising identifiers, or work with any ad networks.
In-app purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, with RevenueCat used to validate the receipt. That means RevenueCat receives an anonymous purchase identifier and the receipt, so the app knows whether Pro is active. We never receive your card number or payment details — the store handles those and does not pass them to us.
Expense Tracker - Income Manager is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
